More Op Art projects
There is something super motivating for students about optical illusions. Maybe it's the repetitive nature of creating them or the feeling that you are tricking someone into seeing something that isn't there, but my 7th graders love creating Op Art designs. Students studied the work of Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarelly to create illusions that seem to pop out from the page wit their Value Hand designs. When they were finished, they could create a Op Art word-design if they had time.
