Life as a
Graphic Arts teacher
About
Hello!
I am beginning my tenth year teaching art in various settings and I love it! I have experienced teaching art & design at private, charter and public schools across PA and I have the pleasure to work with many people through my years so far. I love inspiring others to be creative!

It really takes a village to raise a child. Collaboration essential for a strong education and for learning! Integrating art with other subject areas is important for students to develop problem-solving skills as they begin to see how art connects to their everyday lives. I constantly strive to provide students with content that inspires divergent thinking and utilizes their problem-solving skills and creativity.
On this website you can review my resume, examples of my artwork, and some lessons that I have taught. I'm always updating the artwork featuring the work of my students so make sure you check out my blog with all the latest and greatest work!

So Jesus answered them in saying "my teaching is not mine, but He who sent me."
— John 7:16
The purpose of this site is to highlight aspects of my experiences.

It will focus on my values as an educator and feature my ability to instruct a variety of ages and skill levels. Throughout my career I hope to help students develop an awareness of how art connects to their lives and to help students learn to enjoy expressing themselves visually. Art should be fun!

All artwork seen on this site (except in the portfolio section,) has been created by students I have had the pleasure of instructing.

I hope you enjoy their work as much as I do!
